Terms ofservice.

What Orkio is

Orkio rents you a private, always-on server (a "box") where AI coding agents run on your behalf. You reach your box from the app and from your phone. The agents run on your own accounts with model providers such as Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (Codex); Orkio charges for the box, not for model usage.

Your account

• You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a contract.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account and on your boxes, including what agents do there on your instructions.
• People you invite to a box act under the box owner's account. The owner decides who has access and removes people who should no longer have it.

Payments

Subscriptions are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Polar (polar.sh), which handles payment, invoices and sales tax or VAT. Prices are per box, flat, and shown before you pay. A subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel it; you can cancel any time from the panel and keep the box until the period you paid for ends. See Refunds and cancellation.

When a subscription ends

When a subscription ends or a payment fails for good, the box is switched off. Its files are kept for 30 days, then the box and everything on it are deleted. Renew within those 30 days and the box comes back as it was. Download anything you want to keep before then.

Acceptable use

A box is for building and running software. You may not use Orkio to:

• mine cryptocurrency, or run workloads whose main purpose is to burn compute or bandwidth;
• send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or run open proxies, VPN exits or anonymisation services for others;
• scan, probe or attack systems you are not authorised to test, or distribute malware;
• store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or exploits minors;
• get around the limits of your plan or the isolation between boxes, or resell access to Orkio without our written agreement.

To protect other customers we may limit, pause or switch off a box that breaks these rules or harms the service, and we will tell you why. Serious or repeated abuse ends the account without refund.

Your content

Code, files and data on your box are yours. We do not look at them or use them to train anything. We access a box only to keep the service running, when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.

Availability

We aim to keep boxes running around the clock, but we don't promise uninterrupted service: hardware fails, networks drop, and we restart boxes for updates and security fixes. Keep your important work in a git repository outside the box.

Liability

Orkio is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
