Short guides, from opening your box to your first agent, billing and teams. Can't find it? Write to us.

Getting started

  1. Create an account at app.orkio.si/welcome with your email or Google.
  2. Pick a kit. Your answer to "what do you want to build?" decides which box we suggest and what we set up on it. If none fits, start with an empty box; you can add kits later.
  3. Choose your box. Starter: 2 GB memory, 1.5 vCPU. Pro (4 GB, 2 vCPU, teams) is coming soon. Pay monthly or yearly; yearly costs 20% less.
  4. Pay. Checkout is run by Polar, our merchant of record. If there's no free box at that moment, you aren't charged and we tell you.
  5. Your box opens about a minute after you pay. The kit takes a few more minutes to set up; connect Claude meanwhile.

Then describe your task in plain words and start the agent. It keeps working on the box after you close the app.

Connect Claude

Agents on your box run on your own Claude account; Orkio doesn't charge for model usage. You connect once and it stays connected.

  1. On the app's home screen, tap Connect Claude. If you have no project yet, add one first.
  2. Open Claude sign-in and sign in to your Claude account in the new tab.
  3. Claude shows you a code. Paste it into Code from Claude and tap Connect.

Prefer the terminal? Open your box's terminal in the app and run this; you follow the same link-and-code steps there:

claude auth login

If the code is rejected, start again and paste the newest code; codes expire quickly.

Connect GitHub

With GitHub connected, your box can clone your repositories, push branches and open pull requests.

  1. On the home screen, tap Connect GitHub. A short code appears.
  2. Open github.com/login/device, enter the code and approve.
  3. The app says it's connected once GitHub confirms.

To bring in a repository, choose Add project → Clone from GitHub; your repositories are listed and the one you pick is cloned into /workspace. The connection lives in the box's own gh configuration. To revoke it, remove the authorization on GitHub under Settings → Applications.

Share a live preview

To open a web app running on your box on your phone, or show it to someone:

  1. Start the dev server first. The easy way is to tell the agent: "run the dev server on port 3000".
  2. In the Web kit's project, tap the Share a preview chip in the suggestion row above the composer. A public link arrives within seconds.
  3. Share it with Copy link. When you're done, tap Stop sharing.

While the link is up, anyone who has it can open your app, so keep that in mind if it shows anything private. It's a free Cloudflare test link and it can drop: share again to get a new one.

In other projects, ask the agent to "share a live preview link for this"; the kits teach agents how. From the terminal: ~/.local/bin/orkio-preview 3000 (use your server's port).

Kits

A kit sets up a ready project on your box and leaves a CLAUDE.md telling agents how to work in it. The composer also offers one-tap prompts that fit the kit.

  • Web / SaaS: a Next.js starter (App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind), ready for Supabase and GitHub. /workspace/web-app
  • Video: a Remotion project, ffmpeg, optional ElevenLabs voice-over. Rendering needs memory; Pro is recommended. /workspace/video-studio
  • My own project: you bring your GitHub repository; there's no kit folder, your repo is cloned into /workspace.
  • Mobile: an Expo (React Native) app you open on your phone with Expo Go. /workspace/mobile-app
  • Automation / bot: Node jobs, Playwright, schedules, Telegram or Slack notifications. /workspace/automation
  • Data & reports: HTML/PDF reports from CSV and Excel files, with pandas or Node tools. /workspace/data-reports

A kit isn't a lifetime choice: add other kits to your box any time.

Team and folder access

Teams come with the Pro plan, which is coming soon. On Pro you can invite a team of up to 5 people to your box.

  • Invite: in the panel (hub.orkio.si), pick your box, go to Team and create a role-bound invitation link.
  • Folder access: under Team → Folder access you can limit a member to some folders inside /workspace. Owners and admins always have the whole box.
  • Members signing in: whether members can open the box depends on the box's settings. Until team access is switched on for your box, only owners and admins can get in; the panel shows you which.

A folder limit isn't a security wall: a limited member only sees their folders in the app, but agents and terminals run as the box's own user, so a shell command can read outside them. Only let in people you trust with all of the box's files.

Billing and invoices

In the panel (hub.orkio.si), pick your box and go to Billing:

  • Change plan: applies now; the price difference is prorated on your next invoice.
  • Cancel subscription: your box stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then stops.
  • Payment method and invoices: update your card and download an invoice for every payment.

The box's owner manages billing; if you're a member, ask the owner or an admin. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment; details in refunds and cancellation.

When a subscription ends

When a subscription ends or a payment fails for good, the box stops and agents don't run. Your files are kept for 30 days; the panel shows the exact date. Choose a plan in the panel within that time and the box comes back as it was. After 30 days the box and everything on it are deleted, so push what you want to keep to git or download it first.

Paying from Turkey

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and Polar takes the payment. You can pay with a Turkish card: your bank converts the amount to TL on your statement.

  • The rate is your bank's rate on the day; the TL amount on your statement can differ slightly from what you saw at checkout.
  • Some banks charge a fee for foreign transactions. Your bank sets it, not Orkio or Polar.
  • If the payment is declined, check in your banking app that your card is enabled for online and international purchases.
  • Polar issues the invoice; download it from Billing in the panel.
